Giving back should be easy, accessible, and something people do every day. We’re not a giveaway app. We’re a corporation that uses giveaways and gift cards as tools to move real value into real neighbourhoods: from the people who can give, to the people who could use a hand, through the local shops that hold a community together.

Sponsors, shops and foundations fund gift cards. Anyone in the community can enter for free. Each day we draw a winner, issue a real digital gift card, and they spend it at a local shop. It’s simple on purpose, so it can happen 365 times a year without fail.

Most gift card platforms take a big cut. We don’t need to. As a corporation we run the system at cost so shops can issue and accept digital gift cards for a fraction of the usual fee, and sponsors can put more of every dollar into the community instead of into processing.

Our story

It started with one person who kept showing up.

Syed Mahboob is the kind of person who just shows up for people: helping families, organizing community events, being there when someone needed it. Watching that firsthand, Zubair Safi kept asking the same question: what if we could take this energy and scale it? What if technology could help reach thousands instead of dozens?

That’s how Gift64 was born: a corporation that digitalizes community support so it can reach people at a much larger scale. What started as a local effort in the GTA is becoming a platform where anyone, anywhere, can make a real difference every single day.
